so i recently swaped my intake manifold from my d16y8 to d16z6 and i keep getting code 14 so i checked the iac and i replaced it cuz i thought it was defective but i still keep getting the same code i need some help if anyone can help me out i would i preceiated

Why would you swap to a Z6 manifold? the Y8 one flows better... Does the Z6 one have the same type of IACV as the Y8 One?

cuz i got tired of the plastik intake falling off and it had the same iac from the y8 and i went and got the one from the z6 but still does the cel

im talking about the air box the plastik tube the manifold was to short for the tube so i kept falling of the the throttle section thats the only reason why i did it cuz it kept messing up with the manifold air sensor

that doesnt make sense unless the box is the wrong one for the car.
