Icon2 Need help with clogged heater core?

Okay picked up this civic sedan riced out. But anyways I'm a mechanic and have messed with Honda acuras for years. I know I can replace the heater core but I need other options on getting it unclogged.
-Tryed the hose pipe (but could not get a good connection)
Just seeing if you guys have any ideas of something I could pour down there?
Long story short I replace the headgasket and the previous owner put stop leak in there I know that what stopped it up.
Any ideas?

unplug both the hoses from the heater core best way to do it is not to do it from the core itself but from the motor run some garden hose water into the heatercore into the OPPOSITE direction that it flows so the hose closes to the passanger side.. than put compressed air into it and have something that catches it like a milk jug than run a little bit of CLR trough the core and keep running water until all the CLR is out of the system but remember do all this the opposite way the core flows

at the end just do a couple more runs with a garden hose into the heater core but the way the core actually flows just to make sure u got everyhting out

Yeah I know its a pain, and yes I have replaced it more times than I can count. Right now this is my only car. Me being a mechanic I'm busy with other cars,I will try the methods y'all have listed. I'm just doing this temporary till I start my build thread with this car. Ill go ahead and say I have done so many diffrent swaps I think I'm staying with a d series on this car.
