Default NEED HELP WITH CAMSHAFTS

I have a B20 with GSR head, I was currnetly running Toda B cams in this car. They worked o.k but Friends of mine are running Skunk stage 2 and they are making more power. Is the skunk cam the way to go? or is there a better cam that is recomended. This is a street car only. Im not racing car, just to put in my garage and drive on sundays. I allready have Supertec valve springs and retainers, aswell as Ferrera Valves. Skunk2 (PRO SERIES) Intake manilfod, and SKunk2 70 mm throttle body, full fuel system, stock ignition, usually tuned with wide band.

Please help

Thank you for your help and Time

It might help to understand what your friend is running to understand why he's making more power. If i were you, i'd compare the cam profile between the toda and the skunk 2 before you even think about switching those 2 out.

How do you know his cams are making more power? Did you guys rent a dyno for a couple hours and swap them out and see the results? If not youll need to do that.

Hes runnning the same setup, except I have a knife edged crank, that was lightened, aswell as flycut piston, to be safe. My bottom is fresh, New bearings, pistons and rings. I am just interested with what other people are running with b20 vtec that are makin ggood reliable power. The Toda B cam made great bottom end and Mid range, but Top was weak. Where his skunk2 cam would over power me. We did some dyno testing with both of our cars and he made 221 HP, and I made 204, but I had my torgue than he did. Cant remember how much more.

Yes, we rented a dyno for a couple hours after cars where street tuned with wide band.
