hey im new to this forum. i am wondering for a 1997 civic dx hatch back i am installing a 1998 b18c1gsr engine and trans the two part dc engine harness doesnt work in an ej and the dx harness is obviously lacking quite a bit ! my most likely pick is going to be an engine harness from an obd II a civic ex , or possibly less likely one from a 99-00 si , also running a p73 obd I ecm with hondata so the second o2 sensor is gone and any other emissions related miss haps and the iabs from the gsr intake manifold will be inert then endyn custom skunk mani goes on ! not looking for i think this might work or a buddy of mine did this but he had to cut splice solder and do all kinds of junk looking for cold hard facts lemme know. any good info would be appreciated thanks

You can either use the original Civic harness and ad the wiring for vtec and IABs (you may need to wire knock, but generally if you're running a chipped ECU its disabled) or you can run a '96 - '98 EX harness (you'll still need to wire in the IABs though) No '99 - '00 Harness will work.
