need help asap!!
ok. i just moved a new engine(d16z6) to my house and realized that i somehow broke a green plastic thingie on the block. i am not sure what it is, but i think it connects to the dizzy. the metal part of the plug is still there, but ther green cap is broekn. can soemone tell me what this is? and how i can fix it?
just realized that imagestation can't be used to upload the picture. where else can i use??

i broke mine off right there too a while back, found the part and superglued it.. a year later still kickin'
you'll have to replace the entire soleniod if you cannot find the broken pieces or cannot getto glue them.

try to straigten those metal teeth. then try to see if it will plug n..duct tape ..i did the sane thing yesterday.i was able to carefully straighten the teeth and use ductape cause i messed up my **** up too but mineworks ..soon i will get a new vtec solenoid..if i remember its the oil pressure clip..

yeah, thats the bastard thats been giving CEL code 22's on my EG6, took the solonoid off to find a damn 1cm long insect, still in 1 piece blocking the mesh in the solonoid gasket!

If you've got any soldering skills you can just cut the connector off the harness and solder the wires directly onto the sensor. Then maybe use a hot-glue gun to seal the solder joints or some heat shrink tubing. Unless the prongs in the sensor have broken contact internally
