Default IN NEED OF HELP AND ADVICE FOR MY B16

hey I have an eg hatch that currently has a b16a2 head but it recently cracked on me so I am ordering a freshly rebuild b16 head its cleaned and re-surfaced with valve angle job all fresh and built with oem spec internals and oem top end gasket kit for 700 bucks and should be getting in my yonaka exhaust(ws2 copy) for 300 bucks and I am running out of money and have about 500 left for install new head studs and if anyone could help me with other little stuff I may need with the new head I want it all clean with new oem stuff and dont want to re-use old parts unless I have to. so what stuff can I skip and other be sure to replace so i dont mess up my new head. Also I need a catalytic converter and the muffler shop says just that part is 300 and thats too much for me. what is the best and least expensive way of finishing up my exhaust system with a new catalytic converter(need this part so I can pass emissions)? I only have 4-1 open headers on right now and the catback I ordered is 60mm piping. Any help or advice would help me out a lot!!

You can get catalytic converters for $80-100 from summit racing.

As long as you're close to your current piping size it shouldn't matter. i think I got 2.25" but I had an ebay exhaust on the car. Original owner

Indeed, what else did you need?

I advise you to probably do an inch/mm conversion when ordering your converter and get it closest to 60mm as well. The Yonaka exhaust seems like a nice exhaust for the money, if it holds up for years it's worth every penny. The soundbytes I've heard make it seem very nice.

Take your new header, catback, and converter to a good muffler shop and they can sort it all out. Should cost $60-150

Installing the header yourself would save you some money. Make sure you get a new gasket. Drive slowly over to the shop so you don't get a ticket.

Alright Ill order a magnaflow 2.25, there about 80 bucks only and seem like there the best for the money. How do I do an inch conversion?

Ya the yonaka seems like itll give a good deep tone, just found out yonakas company is behind and have to wait 6 more weeks!! ahh i just want to cruise already hah but it'll be a while, still need to get the head put on.

Ya that sounds like a good plan, I think I need exhaust gaskets and rubber hangers as well, also need 02 senors but have no idea where they go or how to wire them up. My buddy is a welder so we are going to put all the piping in ourselves and then take it to a shop and have them finish the o2 sensors.

oh and ive been driving my car open headers for a while and havnt been pulled over once, they dont give a **** in AZ haha.

and I also ordered a limeted blox 490 platinum **** but just recieved email saying the **** wont be in till the middle of summer. Come on pple get your parts in stock!!! I hate waiting but it'll be worth it those ***** are the ****
