Default Need help/advice with coolant leak (large pics)

My car (92 civic EX) leaks coolant like crazy from the driver side of the engine but I'm having a little trouble figuring out where it's coming from. Here are some pics. Sorry for the large file sizes.

For orientation, the large pulley is the crankshaft pulley and the belt you see is the alternator belt. The leak seems to be coming from behind the lower cover above the crankshaft pulley. This makes me think it's the water pump.

Am I most likely right? Anyone have this problem before? Any idea of what the leak is most likely caused by: bad o-ring, coming out of the bleed holes, etc? This is major suckage for me since I have to remove the timing belt first to inspect the water pump.

I'll be the first to admit that I know little about working on motors. Other than changing some basic maintenance stuff, I'm pretty inexperienced but willing to learn. If anyone has any tips, advice, or pointers, I'm all ears.

Water pump is probably bad. I would stop driving until I get it replaced.
Unless your car smokes then it's your head gasket.

However your gonna blow the engine if you don't fix this now.

water pump bushing
same thing happened to me
depending on how many km's you got you may as well do a timing belt since everything is off.

if you pull that plastic cam gear cover off you will see that coolant trail leading to the water pump.

good way to kill a day

Thanks for the input. I tried taking off the upper timing belt cover but I still couldn't get a good view of anything under there. I went ahead and ordered a new waterpump, timing belt, and tensioner though. Hopefully, this takes care of the problem. My car hasn't been smoking so hopefully it's not the headgasket. We'll see. Thanks again.

Good eye. Thanks, I ordered a new waterpump along with a timing belt and tensioner. Hopefully I'll be able to fix it.
