Measure the cone. I have 5 1/4s in mine. Will not house anything bigger.

My 6" JL Audio VR600-CX fit like a glove.
BTW, cone diameter is 5"

In that case we can get into other issues. Similar measurements in different speaker brands will actually have different fitment sizes. Many people attest to 6 1/2 in the front, the speaker brand that I chose required 5 1/4, and that is with removal of the rear part of the speaker mount. I think your best bet would be to test fit speakers, if they dont fit return them.

I used to think that too, but then I bought 6" speakers and they fit perfectly in the black baffle. I just had to cut out the back to make room for the magnet.
Yeah I agree with test-fitting, but I'm pretty sure anything from 5.25-6.5 will work
