There were three incidents that might provide insight into the problem.

Problem 1 occurred a few weeks ago.
The engine stalled when driving. I was able to restart the car after coming to a stop.

Problem 2 occurred four days ago.
The engine stalled when coming to a stop. The auto transmission was stuck in Park. I had to use the Shift Lock Release to shift out of Park.

Problem 3 occurred two day ago.
The engine won't completely start. It's sounds like it's about to start, but then shuts down. The transmission is stuck in Park.

Any thoughts on what's wrong?
