Default Need exhaust help really really bad!! I have a problem.

I put exhaust on my car and it was fine until 20 min ago. It looks like the part where the header connects to the other pipe is hanging really really low. Its almost about to touch the ground. I dont understand what happened. It just got like this. Could the motor have somehow torqued hard and broke one of those springs bolts or what. I can't even drive anywhere now. Its hanging so low that even the tinest bumps scrapes, and i dont want to tear the headers off my car. What do i do how did this happen!!!

it looks like the header is hanging ALOT lower than it should be, therefor its not connecting up to the other pipe well at all. What happened?? I was really high rpms in second gear and accidently let off the gas and my car shaked for a second, beacuse i was at high rpms, but it still drives fine.

have you looked at anyhting, like got under the car and looked, it could be as simple as the hanger feel out of the mount, something broke, the exhaust systme is the most simple part of a vehicle, it only blot on and hangs, no tricky ****

the exhaust manifold didnt get lower, its impossible if it still bolted to your block

expletive dude ive had NOTHING but problem since i got this car... my car feels like it does a wheel hop when i start moving from a stop in first sometimes, and when u let off the gas at high rpms it jerks u around alot.... i dont know if this has any relation to my motor mounts.

i know computers and i got the software working, pics up real soon. my **** used to be really low now it sits on h&r springs and tokico shocks. I just installed a new system and the 2 spring bolts dont seem to be connected to well. But i dont believe the problem lies in that. The header sits way way to close to the ground, and i know it shoudlnt sit that low. My car isnt slammed at all...not sure whats wrong..

Check the bolts that hold your primaries to your secondaries on the the header.....if that is all good then check your hangers on the exhaust pipe. Looks to me like the pipe is pulling down on the bolts that hold it you your header.

P.S. Please learn to resize your pics. You can get a free resizing prog from myspace.com

Edit: Isn't that flange behind the collector supposed to botl to something? That might also be yoru problem....and your spring bolts appear to be OK. If one was broken then your pipe would be hitting the ground.
