Wassup guys I just ordered a JDM console, and I wanna use it to put a TV in... I was wondering if you guys could give me the Deminsions of the opening before it starts to curve down... Im wondering if it will fit a 7" Screen... I would of course make a Plate to fit it in... If you JDM optional audio console owners could take a Sec and measure the large flat opening... I still wanna Retain the ash tray and lighter... any help is Appreciated! TIA

I got one in my EG hatch, and im almost positivet hat it'll fit a 7 incher. you should also be able to keep ash tray and cig lighter

ok sweet how bout anything bigger?? The reason is, is that its a Xmas gift that im not suppose to know about, thats why I cant go measure it for my self...

i have a TV ..but i put it in the normal place for US radios..the bottom 2 dins im adding a NAVI dvd unit that goes with my deck and a Center speaker thats 1/2 din that clarion makes for my deck..her is a pic

btw..that is a 7" screen. Cant see that fitting in the consol..but you can try with custom fitting it..my have some cutting. Post pics if you do it bro. Just seems to look for looking and the back seat riders wont be able to see. At least they cant in my car with the JDM armrest. Good luck with everything.

sweet set up. Im not looking to spend 750plus on a TV flip out... I found a Panasonic 7.2" TV monitor its for a head rest, Put if it can fit, I wanna mount it in the JDM console. No one is aloud in my back seat unless its hot females and even then what do I care if they can see the ****** TV... Bitchs are there for one reason... **** em'! LOL. But on a serious note if someone could really take a second and measure the opening Excluding the ashtray and lighter... That would be ubber appreciated!

I doubt it will fit. I have a 5.8"(Its around there) and the sides just fit, if I remember right. I'll check tuesday when I get home.

It also depends on how much it comes down. At a point on the audio console it starts angling. I remember I had to cut some of it. If you can wait till Tuesday I'll check for ya

Why is ur sunroof button and cruise button the opposite side?

I have the JDM fogs..and the switch is on the other side with the head lights.. It took a while to get used to cause all my other hondas are on the left side..lol. But thats your answer. And why would the girls be in the back..should the girl be up front? I know the saying goes "bros before hoes" but **** if she is fine my friend will KNOW the sit their ***' in the back..lol

there is a single cup holder insert inside of the jdm arm rest

Hey I want and measured my CD opening in the dash and its like 8" I dont see why a 7.2" screen wont fit in the hole of the optional console....

I guess the only problem is how low it goes. I would find out the measurements of the height.

Did you have to cut and extend the wires for the sunroof switch? Or is there enough slack to swap it over to the right?

There is enough slack. I just did this to my Si so I could have the coin pocket.

why waste the money for the audio console? If you're doing custom work, just make the whole thing custom and you can put whatever you want wherever you want.

you have to make sure that you got the jdm console that will work on the usdm cars coz the real jdm console that is off the rhd cars wont fit on the usdm cars without modifying it. The one for rhd faces the rh side and the usdm jdm console faces the left hand side. Hope that makes sense. You should be able to fit a 7 inch screen in there as long as its the raw screen.
