In need of an answer
Hey guys,
Quick question, but any idea(s) why my tie rods and ball joints keep going on me?
I'm going to need to replace them soon, and I just did so 6 months ago.
I dont really drive it hard, but i have a lil fun with it.
I car is my DD. The car and mods are in my sig. Thanks for the help.
Also, what sound(s) does a bad wheel bearing make?

Out of alignment will put unnesccesary stress on suspension parts including your tie rods. Are you using OEM tie-rods or off the line autozone or advance tie-rods?
A bad wheel bearing will sound like a grinding or constant whirrling noise which is speed dependent. Meaning that the noise will become more noticiable the faster you go.

I have just some a/m tie rods.
In my front left wheel there is a pretty loud screeching that comes and goes. At first i thought it was the brakes that need replacing. Now I'm leaning towards wheel bearing cause this sound isnt from brakes.

Are you also sure that your tire isnt rubbing inside anywhere on your fender?

the car is only on tein s-techs so its really not that low.
n yea im pretty sure the tire isnt rubbing. This sound is like nails on a chalkboard. lol
I was hoping it was a rock or something caught in the caliper, but it wasnt. The sound is most noticable when i reverse. Really loud screech. When driving forwards the sound comes, get louder then gets quiet or sometimes stops. This is all while driving in a straight line.

That sounds like a bad wheel bearing, replace it as soon as possible, if not, you'll be waving at your front wheel as it goes hopping into the bushes when your on the highway. As for the tie-rods, i would buy a set of OEM replacement ones and get an alignment and see how that goes.
