Default Need advice on a trade

Ok, I got my 93 DX hatch for $1300 three months ago. KYB AGX, GC coilovers, everything else is stock. Motor has about 155k on it, and is developing a nasty leak. Milano red, warped hood, replaced a fender - needs paint. Normal amounts of dings and nicks. The KBB of my car is $1900.

This kid that lives near me has a 93 EX coupe. Automatic... purple. The front end was just replaced, so it will need paint. 130k on it. Stock everything. The KBB of his is $2775.

So, should I do it? Im thinking so... although it will need a full paint job to hide that UGLY purple. Opinions wanted... this is a daily driver, commuter car. Doesn't need to be fast.

i dunno man. after fixing up your car with the better suspension and all, it might be weird to go back to stock suspension. And the fact that its an automatic would turn me against it, but if you dont mind it being auto, go for it, I think its a pretty good of a deal.

eventually i will do a swap though, so it will be manual at that point. or for an extra ~$500 i could do the manual conversion myself. *shrug*
