ok i have blown a head gasket in my 98 civic. i bought a b18c type-r about 4 years ago.i put it in my civic when i got it ran fine. got in a bad car wreck in it 3 1/2 years ago ever since then i have had it at my grandparents house with a tarp over it. my question is will it work? like i said i have had a tarp over it so it has never been in the rainbut i have noticed bugs have made it their home. i rotated the crank by hand through all four cylinders it feels like it goes through them ok, no friction or anything. but im not a mechanic and i dont know. i know this is a hard one to really answer without actually being here. i just need some advice on it some tips like what you would do in this situation.

no i havent put it in yet. but i was afraid there was only one way. i guess illclean it up and give it a shot

make sure to drain the gas tank... also make sure to change the oil in it and spark plugs and wires before u start it a fuel filter will not hurt to be changed should run but ur belts might be shot
