Default Need Advice ASAP: "New" Car

Well I'm looking at a 94 Del Sol Vtec model. The guy is the original owner, no wrecks, and all service records done by Honda with documentation. The car sounds great except one thing. He said there is some minor rust at the seam. By seam he means where the front and rear bumper meet. I was the first one to contact him about the car so he is holding it for me, but I don't know jack about rust since I am from AL. Anyways, here is the only picture I have of it. You can see it right where the rear bumper and quarter meet.

Would this be hard to fix from what you can tell?

*Edit* Here are two more pictures. Has nothing to do with the rust, but shows the overall cleanness of the car.

I think learning how to remedy some rust is well worth such a gem of a base car, don't you think? I say swipe it, then go around to body shops and get some quotes on killing that rust if you don't personally know how to. Save that beautiful stock Sol!

Yeah this is my second Del Sol. Letting my brother have mine if I pick this one up. I just have never had to mess with rust since I am in the lower US it's not as bad here.

That is not much rust at all, it will take a little work to get rid of, or a little cash...but if the price is right go for it the rest looks clean.

I have a LS/Vtec swap already for my other sol. I just needed a tranny/shift linkage/and some misc crap. For the price of this one it will actually save me money.

No it's not hard to fix, it's typical Honda rust.

Good deal, although I'm against people buy del sols as it lowers your masculinity, it's a good deal.

Meh depends on your take on it. Mine isn't girly, I wouldn't think. This car most definably has potential. How many miles on it? I have the same EXACT car, and I love it to death. That rust is easily fixed, just make sure it doesn't get any worse. And that B16 can get 36 MPG stock!

You might also want to check into the Del Sol thread, lots of inspiration for anything you might want to do to it.

IMO, Sols done well are not girly.

Then again, it's a matter of opinion, and you're entitled to it.

That's clean. What lip is that on there? Here is my current Del Sol:

This one will be my little brothers since I am picking up that one. Been working on the motor swap so it's still riding 4X4 style lol

No offense, but those slipstreams don't really fit the sol...In my opinion...I don't know, maybe dropping it would make it look better. But to me they just look out of place.
