NE1 ever do a JDM RHD conversion!
hello, i am interested in pyurchasing a jdm rhd front clip and welding it to a usdm rear clip. i am wondering how safe the car would be and what it would cost me for the weld job. anyone ever do this before? what would it take for me to get the car totally street legal. im sure i would be able to get it inspected at a gas station, you think thats all i would need.

Waste of money. Will be cheaper and easier to just import a SiR from Japan.

well how much would it be? it buy a crx and import it. approx???????
If you're serious, theres one site out of many that'll do it. Its WAY expensive though cause you have to upgrade the car alot to meet USDOT standards. I think someone locally was looking into importing a RHD SiRII and it was priced at about 14,ooo. Really worth it just to drive on the right?

I have a friend who is going to be gettign a SY EK9 thats a yellow 98 i believe Civic Type R in like 25 days. I think its been either rolled or side sollision but it is coming complete with seats, engine everythign as is just damaged somehow.
and he has no use for it so he's gogin to be parting it out or sellign the entire thing?
anyone with any offer or more interest can contact me on here or at my email.
I might be stealing the motor once it gets here, but i think he said the mirrors are still in good shape so i think it isnt in too bad of shape.
This means red recaros, b16b, 5 lug, CTR wheel, gauge cluster, suspension, wheels tires, whole BLACK/red interior

All I have is the firewall and the rhd rack. It is all you need to do the conversion. How much would you want to spend?

What's the point... that's wasting a hell of a lot of money just to be different.
Don't do it, save your money and buy me my motor. But honestly, with such a high cost it really doesn't make sense to do the conversion
