Just go look at your vin #.
It will be the 4th, 5th, and 6th digits.

EJ7 = Civic 2 Door 1.6L and EJ1 = Civic2 Door, 1.6L

why so many variations in it for a coupe??</TD></TR></TABLE>

EJ7= USDM d16y5 HX
EJ1= JDM d16a coupe

That's because you have a 5th gen with a d16z6. the JDM EJ1 is a 6th gen.

Look at the list in the link i provided, it's all right there.

They actually have some Canadian models on that list, I'm surprised. In this case, they should add my 1997 MB4 to the list, Acura 1.6EL D16Y8.

No no I know that, I was saying that because I thought you were meaning EJ1's were only JDM etc.

Yeah if its a 6th gen then yes but the way I read it was that you were stating that all EJ1's were JDM not just 6th gen. Anyways it doesnt matter now.
