Mystery wire connector from '92 CX that has no place in JDM B16a?
So, I'm swapping a JDM B16a into my '92 CX. I'm using the wire harness from the CX and everything connects pretty easy, except this one:
It came from this which I believe is the "Throttle Angle Sensor". And that sensor does not appear anywhere in B16?
and what is this?

I'm really 2slow
that sensor plug(top) looks like the map sensor(if you dont have one get one ). You should have your tps (throttle position sensor)2nd, if not get one. the bottom piece is just a little cover.

The sensor in the 2nd pic down with the red arrow is TPS, the one on the side in the same picture is the MAP. The plugs are interchangable but, you'll know right away if they are mixed up when you start the engine.

if the wires on that plug have a red greed and yellow color then thats for the tps if it is not then that is for the MAP sensor... The reason why you do not see the MAP sensor on your JDM B16a is because the EG6 have firewall mounted MAP sensors. You would need to get a firewall mounted MAP off an EF civic or CRX, simply zip tie to your firewall or even better bolt in onto the firewall. The cover on the lower pic is just a cover for the FITV for obd1 jdm b16s. hope this helps

no,
get a used one from someone,
300bux is ridiculous,
i'm pretty sure honda wont sell a TPS(throttle position sensor) separately,
you have to buy the whole throttle body.
just get wut u need from some local classifieds or junkyard,
or on the H-T classifieds.
beware of scammers on any of those sources of course
good luck

I have an extra B18b throttle valve. Would this work? How about the throttle valve from the CX?
