Default mystery b16b ctr ECU stamped with japanese characters

Alright does anyone have a clue what this means? the ECU has been opened and seems modified. Does anyone have an idea of what this ecu could have done to it or what company did this. I know this is kind of a long shot but im curious.'

Thanks in advance guys.

If that is an OBD2 ECU, than nothing has been done to it, you can not chip OBD2. I have stickers on my ECU cover, doesn't mean I did anything to it.

P.S. I see no actual modifications to the internal board, I would have to say that it's STOCK

I'm guessing it could be Ricoh Racing CPU I, J's Racing N1 ECU, or MINE'S VX-ROM. Probably 1 of the 3 according to my HyperRev book but I could be wrong.

incorrect. you can, but the OKI chips are pretty much obsolete. I had one (p2e) done in 1998 by Technosquare Inc, contracted through GFORCE (think doug pre-hondata). it was sold a few years ago and has been through many hands at this point on d-series.org.

The sticker on the ECU says TAIYA KAN which means "Tire Building".
