Mysterious Connector On 1992 Hatch Driverside Shock Tower

I was wondering what the mysterious 1-wire connector located on the driver side shock tower. It's blue taped and the wire that goes into the connector is blue.

Im guessing your car dosent have a stock tach its the signal wire for the rpms if you were going to install a tach.

It's a wire to tap into which carries the RPM signal. Every 1992-1995 Civic has it.
