my new project
well a couple of weeks ago i found a new project cx. someone on here posted a link to an old beat up red cx and it was around my area. i ended up following up with the guy a couple weeks after the auction had ended and decidded to buy the car.
here are some pics of what it looked like (the ones from ebay)
and the link to ebay add http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=6783
notice how he stated that the motor was blown up, well here are some of my pics i have taken of it recently
in the next month and a half, i will have the gsr swap in, the car lowered, new rims, lip and fresh paint will be applied, i also dericed the interior as much as i could and i also added a vx cluster so i had a tach.
any comments or suggestions?

well the toothpick that you would call a rod is snapped in half and put that hole in the block.
i ended up paying 800 for the car and 50 dollars to tow it to my house, all in all i think i can have the car just about done for udner 6 grand, including paint, motor, rims suspension
i will be posting updates in this post about how it goes.
and as for getting the sludge off the head i would have no idea, im glad i dont hafta worry about that either

Re: my new project (coptzer)
well the project is coming along nicely, i finally got my gsr motor and have it installed, i need a couple things before i get it running. i went to fill up the radiator and found out it leaks, so now i must get a new one ( if anyone wants to sell one for cheap hit me up id appreciate it)
the exhuast doesnt bolt up to the stock exhaust, which is weird because i thought all of the stock exhausts bolt right up to a b series ??? ( fine with me gives me reason to get custom exhaust ran) what should i go with 2.25 or 2.5
i have gsr mesh rims or vx rims for it, im not sure what im going to run, no matter what they will be painted bronze
suspension i am going to run gsr brakes all around (front is pending on what rims, vx rims wont fit so id hafta run gsr if i wanted gsr brakes)
i have complete gsr front and rear seats for it : that are already in, interior all i am giong to do is get new carpet and get all the red painted **** back to stock, i already have most of the parts, i wont be getting a tach bc i have the vx cluster
i am broke as **** as of right now and all my money is depleted so i will spend what little cash i have on getting a new windshield, cleaning out the interior and then i will ride it at stock height and with the stock shitty paint job till spring as i see no sense in painting the car so close to fall
in spring new paint, drop, maybe new rims, and a front lip and then i will probably be done with this car as i plan to use it the last couple years of college
any comments or questions?
pics will be up tomorrow
