My ITR motor's demise & analysis *pics*
Well, i know everyone has been waiting for this. We took apart my ITR motor today and found out what happend. The valvespring retainer broke and broke one of the #4's intake valves in half. The valve stem was broken off, and it flew all the way over to #2 and got wedged in between one of #2's intake valves(see pic). The #4 cylinder has a huge hole in it, and the chunk from the hole was resting ontop of #1(see pic). The cylinder walls look decent, some minor honing and it will be good to go(i was lucky). The entire head is basically unusable anymore and i plan on selling the cams out of it('96 spec JDM ITR). And without further a-do, here's the pics:

So now you gonna go back to stock? You were the one that said that right? Maybe it was someone else.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I'm going to hone/bore it out and do SRP pistons and Eagle rods. The head im using now is an ITR head w/ Toda B's/toda valvetrain.
Should be really good once its back together.

All stock internals on the blown up ITR.

ouchy. That totally sucks. Talk about bad luck.
Hope everything works out ok, and everything would be running fine and dandy.
