My ITR header and what is doing to my nerves!
Okidoki, theres a LOT of HB's out there but nobody can help me with this without saying "Go to a muffler shop". I dont wanna go to a muffler shop, thats why I ask.
I have a 97 civic hb with a b16 in it. As u EK Hatchy owners might know, i dont have a cat. Why u ask? Because the EK hatch's have the cat IN the header. So when swappin to an aftermarket header u loose it.
In other words, my hatch consists of two parts, header and cat back exhaust.
Thats where the problem lies. The itr header has a 2.5 inch collector and doesnt fit my apex-i world exhaust.
1. Does any company makes a cat-back for the EK hatch in 2.5?
2. Does anybody knows where i can get this:
http://www.theoldone.com/compo...s.htm
If u see the last three pics, u will notice the 2.5 collector conected to a type of adapter, but the fun part is that it has tubing! With this said, if i get my hands on these, i can saw the apex-i and use a clamp and Voila!
The car cant go to a shop since it cant move so thats why i want to do this.
Any help/input/bashing/hating is GREATLY appreciated my heterosexual honda owner friends!

What? A cat-back or the little adapter thing?
And where I can get them is the question.

if he doesn't have a place for a cat, he can just hook up the exhaust to the header, and it'll be just like running a test pipe. That's what I would do. If you want a cat after that, go to an exhaust shop and they'll cut one in.

go to honda, get a 2.5" collector donut gasket for an S2K. get a carsound/magnaflow 2.5" highflow cat, put it in... end of story. unless you can weld you're going to need a muffler shop. i did it with my DC JDM 4-1 header, 2.5" carsound cat, and OE CTR catback. sounds kick *** and performs better than my 4-2-1 DC header, carsound 2.25" cat, and Skunk2 2.25" catback (freakin fart cannon that was).
