Default my hatch is off

the hatch on my civic (trunk) is kinda off. what can i do to fix this? i will post pictures up somtime when i get home, cause im at school right now. but yea i need 2 fix this before i paint cause its the only big problem i have rite now. its not realy off but it goes to the right like half an inch more than the other side.

The hinge needs an alignment. Lossen the bolts, align them, then tighten enough so that they don't move. Test close the hatch until the gaps all around are similiar. I had to do this on my gas door on my EG...it's a test and trial thing. GL!
