dont rev but they have torque. if i were to swap again and stay NA id go b18c5 and never look back. best bang for the buck IMO b series has a better parts group to choose from and its typically cheaper and easier to find parts for than an H22

We had a small meet here in GA about 2 weeks ago and they had a dyno at the shop and i wasnt there to tune. i just wanted to know what i put down..
No the engine is not for sale,
and lastly..it is a usdm h22a1 with 64-66k miles on it.... i got papers with it with certification and pics of the car and odometer..so no its not some beat down h22...</TD></TR></TABLE>
GA huh?
I'd like to see this car in person. Your times are much, much better than any H22A hatch in GA - ever. Seriously. What strip did you run at?
As far as the dyno numbers they aren't crazy abnormal. I friend of mine, Rotti Eater here on H-T dyno'd 189whp with an H22A with i/h/e and Uberdata tuning.
What part of GA you from? I'm from the southside of Atlanta.

H2B caters to the guy who already has a B swap and wants more power from an H engine.
Thus guy obviously had a wrecked Prelude VTEC so he already had the H tranny, axles, etc. etc. for him it seems much more cost effective than H2B.

I used parts from my wrecked 96 vtec lude, my 94 si vtec, and just alot of stuff had to just be bought.
I run at SilverDollarRaceway, In Reynolds, GA, it is a 1/4 mile track and i love it!!!!!:D
I am in Middle Ga, (macon, i guess u could say)
I have broken so many oem differentials in these H series transmissions in my prelude, So what i did for this civic hatch, I took th M2S4 trans that originally came from my 94 prelude si before i swapped it to an h22....and put in a new diff from another trans, and it works great and i got to learn how to build a h series trans.
And to the guy who says "go BSeries" i have no idea why everyone has to do what everyone else does...yes B series are neat lil revvy as expletive motors but who cares? yeah your typical GSR or type r swaps may put down 170whp and what 130tq? As where an h22a puts down 193/165 in my case and yeah it revs to 7900, soooo i dont see how people can say h22's are low revving engines. A b18b revs to 6900, b21a1=6400, b20a5=6750...I mean cmon...those are low revving non vtec engines...

i know...like i said. i have a gallon of milano red "imitation" paint..lol...
just its too cold to do it right now...
BTW, i dont need pimp my ride's help at all....I have No interior besides prelude seats and the stock dash...it is a fully stripped hatch, and maybe one day it'll have full interior if i ever find a hatch at the junkyard, but they only have coupes and 4drs....

Re: (deckster333)
good luck with the build but im not sure your car "pulls on ferraris, vipers, and corvettes" My 4th gen 6 speed trans am was hitting times better then yours bone stock with slicks

For the doubters, I've seen this engine at the track back when he had his Lude, running low 14's all day. We all know how heavy them bitches are too, so it doesn't surprise me that he's managed to get into the 12.9 range with it in a gutted hatch.
Keep up the good work Brett!
