I was told to drop the link to the vid in this forum because some of you may be interested... so here it is

it's quicktime, btw... nothing fancy, just proof that I autox mine (twice so far).. I'm in novice, so cut me some slack

only way to compare is have the same car/ same driver combonation and do a test before H and after H.

I have absolutely no handling problems with my hatch. It's a 92 CX with an H22. If the suspension is done right, the car handles great.

i have had both. i would have to say the b16 handles better doens't push as much but the h22 is'nt that bad at handling i am not gonna bash it's that's for srue. People say it's the worst.

yeah the black **** is from running WAY too rich.. I have hondata running someone elses program

I just wanted to show that with no LSD and no rear sway bar it's plenty capable..

the other times.. hmm... the second fastest person ran a 43 point something (a not in novice in a s2000) I was the fastest in novice by far (about 3 seconds)

who said anything about comparisons? some people just love to start flame wars, I don't care about any "what's better: h22 vs. b18" debates...

i have a DC and a EG the Eg has a H22a.. i love it.. but the DC drives alot smoother ... but doesn't compare to the EG with the H22a...as far as the fun level... ahahhahaha its a swap that aint for your average Honda guy ... you have to be down for the hybrid's///// its fun ... people who compare are just jealous ... no need to hate on either...

umm excuse me. was not starting any flame war. why cant a tech board have a discussion without flaming? u said "in case many will be interested" and u mentioned autox and the big issue "it can turn". h22+civics+turning is a hot debate so i was merely trying to say "it would be dope if we could compare the two variables", sorry if i didnt put it like this. my bad if it threw u off. who said anything about b18? could be d16 for all i care. its just a issue that comes up. and im glad someone whos actually done turning in a h22 could post some stuff about the swap, but in no way was i starting a flame war. i could care less about flaming, its the net. just hinting at "hey, anyone else ever compare before and after", sorry damn. i admit, i stated what i meant wrong.

furthermore, did u do any autoxing with the d16 still in tact? im wondering if you had any before and after experience?im guessing a nice rear sway would help nicely since the vid mentions you dont have one

no rear sway? damn didn't you get a grip of understeer? especially with that motor up front? wow.

on a side note, anyone remember the JTCC 1992 JACCS EG9 Civic Ferio? That thing had a reverse mounted H22 or something, pretty freakin cool, wonder what kind of suspension they were running on that.
