Default My experience with Rocket M22's NO NO NO!!!!

So i was on my to Honda Day at Englishtown, and on the straight away before the gates to enter the track, i shifted from 1st to second at about 5800rpm's and then my car suddenly just dies. Try starting no cranky. Pull over, still nothing, friends and I pull off valve cover, crank it over Intake Cam ONLY turning. Exhaust Cam Cracked into 3 pieces SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased some Toda Spec B's hopefully they'll be a lot better than that cast crap.

I will be Contacting Robert ASAP. Hopefully he'll be reasonable, and refund me.

Just my rant

Ouch! I arrived there too late to see it happen. Good luck with the Todas. Make sure you tension the timing belt properly. I have read alot of threads about them snapping the timing belt.

Yeah, I hope for the best.
Unfortunately, they'll probably say you installed them incorrectly and thus no refund.
That's what all shops say

So he was basically running there head setup and they cracked? Ouch that sucks.

Did it make any good power. I know Crower replaces there cams ASAP. I remember a year ago i knew someone that went through 2 with skunk 2 valvetrain and they replaced each time. Good luck.

i saw your car in the pits with the cam gear off on the exhaust cam. very sorry to hear it. im sure the heat didnt help with dealing with it either. it was roasting out there. good luck with the refund and your next build
