My EG6 500hp street build!!
So, new to this forum thing but always loved cars and probably gone through a million of them by now but I think I've figured out what I finally wanna build. Came from WRXs, 240sx, Miatas, motorcycles, Toyota rock crawlers and currently still own my C5 Z06 but always loved Hondas and my buddies are into it so here it goes!
I had an EK hatch with a B16 and traded a buddy for this EG with a BARd GSR and supposedly rebuilt motor(but who knows).
And the guy who built this bad *** is going to be helping me with my build
My goals are for a daily 500hp to the wheels for street and occasional drag strip.
Hopefully get it going before our local CMI in a couple weeks!

Currently got bodywork and paint done, good for now with a hook up price so can't complain. This is it before bodywork and paint. Sorry about all the pics but I know everyone wants to get straight to the pics!
Tight time frame so had to work with what I got before paint!

Yea, I wasn't a big fan myself but just dove in to try it out. It was definitely a fun little car and I liked how I had mine setup.
And it was a 1.6 but all bolt ons, wasn't bad but the 1.8 is definitely a lot faster and the Torsen is a lot better also.

Thanks, I grown into the color, definitely something different and wanted it to look dark at night. So we did a little bit of tearing apart on the block but not much. Getting ready to tear down the block and send it to machine shop to get the crank micro polished and balanced!

Yea that's what I'm shooting for. I know stock sleeves are not good but hopefully with a good tune it'll hold until I get my spare block sleeved. $1200 for the sleeve just isn't gonna be happening right this moment.

500whp on stock sleeves generally lasts 10-30 passes, from what Google tells me. That's 2.5-7.5 miles of WOT driving. That doesn't even sound like enough time to get it properly tuned, let alone even remotely call it a DD/street car. Cracking a sleeve risks taking parts of the rotating assembly with it.
Just throwing the information out there for you. I wouldn't want to risk destroying expensive hardware. When you have the financials, what sleeves are you looking at?
