my damn vtec having problems
umm well i got a gsr so at 6000 rpms vtec kicks in but i sounds like it does for just a second then it doesnt sound like vtec is workin wat is the problem!!!

make sure u have oil. when im low on oil VTEC will act stupid, it will cut in and out, worth a try if not check ur wiring , also do u have a cel?

So maybe you should have posted in the Integra forum instead of the Civic forum?

VTEC should be engaging at 4400 RPM with a B18C1 running a stock P72.

Low oil level will affect the operation of the VTEC mechanism, but will not affect the operation of the IABs. He likely has a wiring issue or vacuum problem.
