My damn aftermarket headlight housing fogs up, help!
I see this all the time on aftermarket headlight housings, so im sure other people have posted about it, but i cant find it. I have one headlight that keeps fogging up at night or in cold weather. I've checked for gaps in the housing, but i can't find any. (I've even taken out my headlight and put a vacuum in their to try and find it). Can someone tell me how to fix this?

get some silicone and apply it all around the edges until all of it is sealed.

Take it apart. Are you using the rubber cover by the connector, if not that might help some. It did for me.

ok.
I know i'm not helping you fix the problem on hand but, get oem or if you want black housing get jdm. i promise you no more leaky lights. I just think it's funny when people think theyve improved the looks of there car when they have water in there headlights and taillights.

i USED to have jdm blackhoused in there, but i got in a head on accident and the repair place obviously replaced them among other things. I was just happy they took the time to match my old parts instead of putting stock ones in. jdm arent exactly a piece of cake to come by, so it could be a while, but i want em. (I got my old jdm ones for only 65 bucks, in the box too, so i knew they were authentic, i miss them )
