This paint is good up to 2000 degrees, but when you apply it you need a baking temp of 400 degrees.

Got some paint work done, now i can install the rest of the glass.

Fuel rail, fpr, lines and filter are new to the set up but the intake manifold will be sold and replaced.

Stage 5 clutch and radiator also came in. Motor should be done soon from the machine shop. Hopefully in a week or two....

these are stock valves

everything cleaned up nice, i had my garage door open the whole time and used solvent resistant gloves. it took me about 3 1/2 hours for the valve lapping and cleaning the ports and guides. i went through many q tips towels, solvent and three cans of brake cleaner.

thread lock for the flywheel bolts and pressure plate bolts

tranny was dirty as hell so removed all hardware and painted the casing.

a really good clean up on the flywheel and pressure plate so no chance of contamination

What did you use to clean the valves, I might have missed it because I was looking at the pictures.

i used abrasive wheels and paint thinner (it was cheap) to clean the valves and a thin lapping compound for the valve seats. and of course each valve stayed with its seat.
