That was two sentences.
Nobody can tell you the quarter time of your car in any configuration.
Take out the weight, get the better tires, go back to the track, and find out for yourself.

probably all that weight in the back causing you to lose traction.
that and you are in a sedan.
and d series arent that powerful to begin with

a d series isnt powerfull to being with but u should have been in the high 16s with all that weight....lower your tire pressure a bit and work on your 60 foot times and your reaction times- i bet thats whats killing you. my z6 in my hatch pulled a 15.4 with light mods so u should be able to get around there even with an extra 600 pounds

Re: (ventturei27)
go find you a good, long, flat road to practice on. launch at different points and find out what would be the best. idk how you drive but just cause theres a redline dont mean thats where you shift. pay attintion to your motor an where it quits really pullin, an that'll be where you want to shift. youd rather have more pull then waiting on it to redline. you needa be shiftin at exactly the right point before you stop pullin hard. go with there lower tire pressure to, then regular.
ive seen a z6 beat plenty or respected b18's\hybrids an v8's around here. you get more out of trickin your computer with its sensors on the single heads than you would just throwin on a couple bolt ons an haven at it. i hear to many people puttin single heads down. im fixen to start my c1 but the Z6 is stout, its a go get'r for budget.

A 92 stock Civic Sedan weighs 2275lbs(for the DX) and 2319lbs(for the LX) which is less than an 92 Stock Si Civic Hatchback weighs in at 2326lbs....
So its not as heavy as it looks

Re: (92hatch_cx-t)
yea well im goin back to the track on wed. i took everything out this time since i actually knew my friends were going up there this time. Another reason i might have run slow is because i didnt kno where the track was and filled up before we left and then again about 5 miles from the track since i wasnt sure on how far we were from the track

At the weight differences it depends on the options (such as power windows). If he's got the stock Z6 in there than it's an EX - heaviest as far as I know. So you're right, the LX 4 door is lighter than the Si and EX, but if he's got the stock motor in than it's an EX and it's heavier as far as I know.
Either way - the weight differences are damn near negligible.
For a new driver, that's fine.

Re: (Bejita)
my buddies girl friend ran a 16.9 in here eg with full interior. O yeah that was also with a d15 non vtec. I think you need more practice and dont launch so high.
