Default My cat just fell off, dragging, 1.5 hours from home!

So im here at college, about an hour and a half drive away. I was cruising around the parking lot looking for a spot when I heard something very bad. My car then when I gave it gas, it barly pulled. I knew something was wrong so I just parked in the back. I looked under my car and saw that my cat is just hanging on in the front. It's now dragging under my car, and now it sounds like a muscle car of some sort. It's very annoying and loud but since im so far from home I'm not sure what I should do about it. My car is at most 3" off the ground so I can't get under it, should I just drag it home till it falls off? I will be here for four hours so I need some ideas as to what I should do. It's pouring down rain too, so its tough to do anything. Let me know, thanks
Matt

I'd say just drag it home.

Like you said, it's raining, your car is very low, I mean.....really, what are you gonna do?

If you've got a few bucks, try to find a local muffler shop and have them bolt it back up/weld it back up for you.

They shouldn't charge more than like $15, even if they have to weld.

Get a coat hanger......jack the car up and tie that bitch up off the ground.....then go home and get it fixed.

Or find a muffler shop around your school.

I vote for finding a muffler shop around your school. You don't want to drag it home. If it falls off on the way home (which it probably will from being dragged for 1.5 hours) you will have to spend more money on buying a new cat. You can find a local muffler shop and have them reweld/rebolt it back up and it will be good as new and a lot less money. Besides, do you really want your ears to be ringing for that entire drive home?

Am i the only one that feels bad about this poor kitty cat being dragged around? Seems like everyone just cares about his car, hahahaha im a DORK!

...if you read the story again it really sounds like hes dragging a real cat.

On a serious note take it to a muffler shop near you. Dragging it for an hour and half is just going to make it totally destroyed.

not to mention the sparks/heat could potentially start a fire. If nothing else I would go the coat hanger route.

Just jack it up and rip that thing off there, fix it when you get home. Hopefully you won't get pulled over between school and home.
