My car got flooded....=(
Basically a stream overflowed while I was working and I had water all the way up to my front axel and it got about 4in of water in the interior. My car is turbo and I thought water got in the compressor housing but I figured since its a T25 that it would drain out the bottom so I pulled off my hot side intercooler piping but I didn't see any water.
I dried out the ECU and jumper harness the best I could and then I started the car with the intercooler piping still off to get any water that could be in the compressor side out. Put it all together and started driving down the road and got to my house and the check engine light came on. Pulled the code and it was for IACV. My car smokes pretty bad now also and I think is burning oil.
There is no loss of coolant so I don't think I cracked a sleeve, but all my plugs are white except #3 which is black oilyish and had smoke coming out of it when I pulled it. Car idles pretty rough also.
Notes:
-Car got flooded
-Code 14 for IACV
-Smokes/ burns some oil
-3 of four plugs are white (thinking detonation) and cyl #3 is black oilyish
