Default My car + drive thru car wash = Not good.

Went to the car wash last night. I left there and drove to the Chinese place for dinner (the car ran fine), picked up my take out, and when leaving, the car had a rough idle and sputtered a intermittently. Under acceleration, it would be like sput sput sput - rvmmmmm (normal sound - not sure how to type that) then sput sput some more. Under deceleration, it wouldn't do anything, ran normal. Just ANY throttle and it would choke. I babied the car home, the check engine light was flashing the whole time. I made it home, popped the hood, nothing looked wrong. I removed the ECU fuse, battery, dist cap, rotor, coil, plugs, wires, and checked everything I could think of. Nothing...

So, I ate cold dinner, put everything back together, and let the car sit overnight. This morning, same thing. Sputtered out the driveway, so, I parked it and checked the code with the paperclip trick - no codes. I checked it like 10 times. No codes, but the check engine light is on. Weird. My car is sitting out today. Maybe It'll warm enough to evaporate anything from the car wash. I wash the car all the time, nothing. I have a AEM CAI and bypass, and in 4 years, never had any trouble.

Anyone? Anyone?

did you wash you engine, under high pressure?

if so could be water in the distributor or wires. I reccomend a full tune up, Plugs, Plug Wires, Distributor cap, and Rotor button.
