Default My boy's CX (56k careful)

A little over two weeks ago my boy was turning at a busy intersection and got caught by the light. He was given a chance by the oncoming traffic to turn, but a yellow NYC cab clipped him in the front passenger side. Take a look at the damage below. He was alright with just minor bruises. There's a rebuild in thw works for the hatchy.

glad to hear he is alright, is the shatter in the windshield (above passanger airbag) from the airbag?

glad to hear he is ok, but if I am not mistaken, that car looks totaled, you sure a rebuild is worth it?

I not sure if it'd be worth fixing man. The damage looks really severe. Car might not be worth the hassle. Plus its only a stock motor. But its up to the owner though. the car might have sentimental value. hehe

are you sure thats actually rebuildable? it looks pretty messed up.
for the money you are going to put in to fix it, you are better off getting a new hatch.

ya it really doesn't look worth it, i mean the frame is bent and all, thats pretty bad damage, i would just get another hatch and keep that one as parts. what sort of insurance does it have?

Don't rebuild that, just go buy another CX. They're a dime a dozen . . .

Yeah that windshield crackage is from the airbag. He was alone.

About the rebuild, yeah I told him to scrap it and get another car. I don't even think that it'll ever drive the same again. Even if it's fixed up.

His engine is/was a d15 something. I forget.
