i saw one in the local paper going for 3 grand CDN ....

i want one bad .. but scare of its realibitly since it is very old ...

yep. that's my FB rx-7. it's an '83. 177k mi on the original motor, still goin' strong. too bad the motor's been the most reliable part.. carb problems are common, and i had to replace the tranny about a year ago, among many other things.

i think $3k can is a little steep. i'd pay $2k...unless of course it has the 1.3 in it. then i'd pay up to $3k USD, 'cause those are rare and fast. and if you do ever get one, treat the engine like gold. those apex seals can get pretty fragile when ignored.

my plans for the mazda: new brake master cylinder, paint the hood up, remove all the emissions crap, race it.

plans for the honda: already tinted windows after the pic was taken, springs/struts (i dunno about those coilovers), EX gauge cluster, wheels (stock civic or integra wheels i think...if anyone has their old civic wheels, i may want to take 'em off your hands)..and i'm gonna look into an EX vtec head/ecu swap.
