My b16a2 dyno numbers *finally*
b16a2
short ram intake
4-1 hella DENTED header
testpipe
RS*R Catback
~70000 miles
even compression numbers
"mugen" chipped p28
as you can see it's a little lean according to the wideband there
plugs are just slightly brown with no signs of detonation or overheating.
I have the .bin if anyone wants it.
I also tested the "j's racing chip"
it made less power everywhere (2-3) and was a lot richer, to rich in some parts.
turbo is going on in a few weeks, my goal is another 100whp and finally some TORQUE!

I'd say it's a bit too lean . Especially since it will be even more lean when you're driving on the road and not just on a dyno.
Get it down to 13 or so and you're safe

Pretty much same thing really.....just constant flashing...
Anyways, richen it o-so-slightly 4.2-5.2 Don't touch anyhting after that, and see if that makes a differences. Good luck.

you you are correct. In japan there is no number after the letter. It's just a b16a or b16b there.

Re: (Ekizzle)
the valves are tight BTW
.005 and .006
about the max you can go i think. feels better like this than at .006 and .007
i adjust the valves every 10k
oil every 2.5k
regap the plug every oil change, new ones every 10k
dissy and plug wires are 70,000 miles, no probs!
getting ~25-30mpg
