well the guy i sold it to wasnt a punk kid and any thing he coulda worn out i could have fixed any way. actually the trans was broken thats why he sold it. a axle seal had leaked slow for a while and he ran it out of fluid and the bearings all left go.

The awd conversion has always intrigued me. Props on pulling it off, nothing more badass than actually laying down power instead of spinning every gear

Happy to hear you got this car back. I've seen a couple AWD Civics now and yours is by far the cleanest. How do you think the rear would hold up if you left out the viscous coupler? This is a project I am looking into as I am currently running a B20B block that is putting 535hp and 450tq to the front wheels. Obviously traction is an issue which is why I'm considering taking on such a project. Just wondering if you feel that the only reason the rear is holding up on your car is because of the viscous coupling. Thanks for the write up on your car. It is truly unique and for a Honda fan, absolutely worth the work.
