Re: mugen valve cover (thechamp2633)
This should probably go into the Appearance/Cosmetic forum. I'm pretty sure Mugen only makes valve covers for B-series. The one's for a D series are knock offs and don't do anything performance wise.
I think it's debatable if the real one's do anything either, especially on a street car.

I dont think mugen makes a VC for the D series. ..
I could be wrong though, I thought that all mugen covers were B series.

I hope you know they aren't real Mugen valve covers. As far as I know, Mugen didn't make D series valve covers. Although I could be wrong. But here is a link anyways: http://www.hookupshop.com/muge...r.htm

Well if you were smart you would know that real mugen valve covers actually look like ****. They dont worry about finish on the VC so the paint is pretty crappy up close. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

Re: (99hondacura)
I'd much rather have a custom painted OE valve cover than an over-hyped fanboy Valve cover.
Expecially when different valve covers are only an aesthetic mod.

Real mugen valve covers are made of a diffrent metal, magnesium i think. It has something that supposedly makes it better than a stock valve cover. Also just because you found a picture does not make it real.

Re: mugen valve cover (thechamp2633)
I didn't think they made any for d series either . I don't see anything wrong with a fake one given the price that Mugen wants for it, plus the fact that Mugen grey won't do anything spectacular for your engine bay. But here is a site for some fake ones.

Re: mugen valve cover (thechamp2633)
get a fake one from Ebay, you can BUY NOW for only $1 and then pay $400000 bucks for shipping! thats an awsome deal!!! Sorry ta break it ya bro, but you'll never find an authentic Mugen VC for a late modeled 1-6 engine
