for the time being, if i drive my d15 with only stock headers, stock cat, and all piping stock with the muffler removed, will it effect my gas mileage? just a quick question, and i would appreciate any feedback. -Thanks

I'd imagine it would make it slightly better on gas, slightly. but way too loud

my muffler got ripped off when i swapped a new engine cuase mine blew, and i drove it for a week and it sounded like hell. no it didnt affect my mpg, cuasemy mpg is the same now wiht a muffler.. but again it sounded absolutely terrible, ppl would come out of their house to ask me to move my car, and i felt like a big dick...
so if you have any concern for the rest of the people in you neighborhood plz muffle it

You'll find your gas mileage to be worse because you'll get into it a little more. Think open-pipes-on-a-Harley-loud but out-of-place on a civic.

yea my exhaust broke a month ago, right before the muffler, and it sounded SOOOOO loud, even if it improves gas mileage a tiny bit, i rather drive quiet

I'd guess it'd actually hurt mpg. You'll have less low-end due to lack of back-pressure... meaning you'll need more/higher revs to get the same results just putting around town. this is just a guess...
