Muffler question, what to buy!
I have a 95 hb and right now looking for a muffler. I'm not much of a showoff guy so I want something that's not too flashy. Something like the is300 muffler. Is there any suggestions as to what to get?
thanks

dont want to be mean, but i dont think it's very original. More like very common. I've had this on one of my cars before, it hangs too low and a bit loud for my taste. I dont want something you can see from a block away. Thanks for the input though, anybody else?

I'm looking for a similiar exhaust too. I have a thermal on my 93 si hybrid and its VERY loud. Looking for something much quieter.

i just got a dynomax rear section for my 99 hatch the application was for the 92-95 hatches. i haven't put it on yet but i've heard it before and its nice and quiet and very sleeper looking. u could also go with a used itr muffler and have it modded to fit. same with a gsr or 99-00 si muffler although the itr flows much better than those do. u could also try finding a ctr muffler.

I know a lot of folks on here seem to be happy with the Es oval cannister (painted flat blk) mounted to custom piping + resonator. Seems to be more on the subtle side as far as appearance and sound goes. If you do a search there are many topics discussing the Es can. HTH

thanks guys, i like the thermal muffler. It's not crazy, but looks clean. I cant afford a spoon muffler, too loud anyways. But is that thermal loud?

tenzo one looks good, so does the greddy. I'll probably end up getting one that looks like that and paint it black. Thanks for the feedback guys. If anybody else has any more pics of their clean mufflers, then please post!
thanks

Alright man, here we go... I run an RS*R Indivia on my 95 ex.. i have light JDM mods on my car, no blue bulbs, no chrome 18s, nothing shiny... If you can get a hold of an RS*R, its the best exhaust out there, at least for civics... its more performance tuned rather than sound tuned... For example its not an obnoxious buzz, instead its got a low (gggghhhhhum) sound, lol... i went ahead and painted my canister high-temp flat black... cuz i hate mirror ****.. left my tip chrome... but its a clean looking system, and definitely worth the money. The only problem you may have is finding one... i believe Racing Beat used to import them here, but they weren't very popular because people were into bling bling $20 bullet type crap u can buy at pep boys... so they didnt sell well... but if ur looking for less bling and more performance, you should go with the RS*R Indivia if you can find one...

The thermal is only loud when you are in the mid to high RPM's or WOT (wide open throttle) then the thing has a nice deep rumble. I absolutly LOVE this exhaust, ZylexSNL has this one as well.
I am constently getting comments from domestic owners, and older people about the sound

Something not too flashy to be seen a block away? Not too loud but noticable?

Unless he got bored one day and cut it, that's not an SP... Especially since it doesn't say TRUST on the bottom... but correct me if I'm wrong..
