Hey im a fellow tusconian.
for you, you need to worry a little about emissions. you have a 96 so whatever swap you get, it MUST be obdII (engine 1996+) or you will not pass emissions.
h22, b18c, b16 etc. it has to be a OBDII setup.
they dont inspect it or anything here in AZ

so i have to worry about emissions but they dont inspect it or anything in AZ?... decide man!
actually i have a 97 prelude and i'm not from tuscon but will be there soon (mid august)
and i thought of either buying a 92-96 lude and doing the h22 swap or maybe a 96 civic
are there any legit shops around there that do swaps?whats the cost?
oh and... how are the laws in AZ about lowering cars, phat rims, exhausts and stuff like that? hope they dont mind!

lol they inspect it but its not like california. they dont care. as long as the engine will pass the car's emissions standard there wont be a problem. for a 96+ car they dont even open the hood, so then no they dont inspect it. but for 92-95 they do open the hood.

well, its great that they dont care for the engine in the car as long as its smog legal but... where do you guys do your swaps?
does hasport at phoenix perform swaps or they just do/sell mount kits and such...
