Which motor mounts to choose???
What's up, I'm doing a ls swap to my 5th gen civic and I need the motor mounts, I found 3 options but I don't know which ones to pickup.
The firs option was Hasport's:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/380584339912...84.m1436.l2649
But they are out of my budget.
Looking for more options I found Avid's:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Avid-Racing-...011379&vxp=mtr
They look good and have a better price.
Then I found those same brand but steel:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/92-95-Honda-...66040f&vxp=mtr
Those are uglier but I don't mind I need them just to work, according to the description they are the same that the above ones but steel made, maybe I could change them later when I got some money.
Due to price I would buy the cheaper ones but I'm worried they broke apart on a few months. Which ones do you recommend, the motor is completely stock and just want the motor mounts to put it in, do you think there is life and quality difference due to price difference?
Saludos.

Hasports. By far the best quality aftermarket mounts you can buy.
They're only $100 more, Save your pennys for a extra month. You won't regret it.

Re: Which motor mounts to choose???
i dought those are avid mounts. but i have similar mounts as the ones in the last link with energy suspension solid street compound inserts. only problem i had with them was the paint on them was cheap and flaked off. i repainted mine when i rebuilt my motor and they work great. other then the paint chipping they work as good as any other mount set. Hasport is all for looks... ive been boosted and torquing on my mounts for 5 years or more with no problems... if you can deal with the steel ones id get those and u wont have any problems for many years

If you get avids, go with softest durometer. I have mid durometer avids and there's a lot of vibration. 2+ yrs and no issues besides that on my dd.
