MORE HORSE POWER
I have a JDM B16 and I'm wanting to get about three hundred horses. Without going with boost what combinations would give me about that much?

Without boost, 300 will be pretty damn tough... People struggle to hit 200whp on NA engines...

The combination of your head and a toilet would work well in this case

x2! I mean **** I only made 160whp/110ft/lbs on my B16 and even to get to that point was qite a bit of $$$, granted that was no internal work and a shitty header, but still, never heard of a true b16(not bored or stroked) making more than 220-225whp.

Re: (turbociviccoupe)
It's expensive, but not as expensive as some of you are making it out to be.
****, bisimoto's running 9's on his SOHC NA Non-VTEC.
I wouldn't say "300 whp is impossible."
Though boost would OBVIOUSLY be the better choice. by FAR.

Re: (SlowCivic29)
If I'm in your spot. Nitrous will be my best friend if not boosting. I ran it with my stock D16A6 CRX 125 shot best competition was a 05 Mustang Bullitt, won by a fender. Stock 97 Civic 100 shot beat Mustand 5.0 Fox body, 97 cobra, Z28s. 97 stock Lude 100 shot, beat supercharged 97 mustang cobra, 90% V8s in the street. Hope that gives some idea. Good Luck!

Yeah, I thought about that after I posted, but the point remains sound, I wouldn't say it costs 8 million dollars as one guy suggested, and I sure as hell wouldn't say it's impossible. Though it would obviously be A LOT cheaper to go their by forced induction.
If he doesn't want turbo lag go for a TT setup or a supercharger...but NA on a 4 banger is stupid for street unless you're in a situation like bisimoto is.

bisi has the advantage of running his own shop with a dyno where he can see what works and what doesnt, not to mention he's one smart SOB. his sohc also has a displacement advantage over a b16.

are you seriously recommending TT's for a honda 4 cylinder?
