Molding?

Molding?
Right now I am riding around with no moldings on my 93 civic coupe ( I just hooked it up with some rattle can flat black!) Well anyways when I took the moldings off the clips broke. Now heres the deal I will have my car painted for real (someday) And I don't wanna spend $50.00 on new clips that will just break anyways, does anyone know how to reattach the moldings with-out new clips?

This sounds good, if it is strong enough. Try to get the stuff they use on emblems, etc. I think it is like a gray colored double sided tape, its pretty strong stuff. I recently pulled off some crappy rubber moldings that were slapped on my car using that tape, it wasn't an easy task either, so that may be something to think about as well.
