modified ecu?
I have a used 94 ex and a while back my friend took it for a drive. After he was done he told me that he thought I had a modified ecu because it didn't cut out until 7,500 rpms and it didn't cut out when he took it up to 125 mph either. he said that on another 94 ex that he drove it only went to like 110-115 mph and cut out right at 7,250 rpms where the actual redline is. I bought the car used and it was partially modified but I don't know if they touched the ecu or how I can tell? Maybe this kind of stuff is normal considering that the car is OBD1, but I have no clue. There is also some electronic stuff missing from my car. It is right under the glove box on my friends civic (same year) but not on mine.Does anyone know what is supposed to be there? I know, I have a lot of questions when it comes to this ecu dilema but your help is appreciated, thanks.

Re: modified ecu? (Tenzo Racer)
hey next time why dont you write a book. Dont worry about it, just be thankful. And if your that worried about it just ask the guys at Hondata to fix your problem. But then again your car is only a civic.
PS do you like your tokico struts? check out my post on this question.

Re: modified ecu? (Tenzo Racer)
that would be a del sol p28 i have one , the ex p28 fuel cut at 7200 and 115 the del sol goes to 7500 and 130 and is more agressive on the fuel curve i gues cause the del sol was the economy sports car.
