The B7 rods will be able to take the z6 head. Many people have done mini-me's (including me) and have had no problems.

The compression is more like 10:1. The block is more then strong enough to handle the extra ~20-25hp the z6 head will add.

the compression also varies on what headgasket you use on the mini-me ... i'm running a mini-me w/ a z6 head & gasket setup and the compression is around 10 i belive ... but if you run the Y8 headgasket (the Y8 gasket's all cheaper ) on the setup the compression will be a little bit higher ... also rod wise i've heard about using LS rods on the mini-me swap but i don't have any experiece w/ that setup ...

Mini-Me with Z6 head and Y8 HG is 10.1:1, nothing to worry about. Hell, i've been boosting 6 psi for the last 6 months on it and it hasnt blown up yet. Just make sure you use 93 octane
