i mean how similar? is it really noticeable if half your car is milano red and the other half of the car is roma red?

yes, definitely. i've seen a 96 roma red civic with a milano red 00 spoiler, you can see the difference from far away. roma red is a lot darker than milano, and the difference is pretty obvious when you have both colors on the same car.

nope, the car was the stock color. it was a 96-98 ex coupe. yes it was roma red, the difference between the 2 colors is pretty noticeable.

i have a roma red ek w/ a milano red front end and u cant tell the difference when its in the shade, but when its in the sun its pretty noticeable. and i think that milano red only came in si color. (correct me if im wrong)

The milano red has more of a pearl in it. You do not want to mix the colors on a car. Unless you are looking to go with the ghetto look.

I agree, I'd say the Roma red is a darker red, while the Milano is brighter. I believe they also made GSRs in Milano red..
