Metal shaving in block coolant drain bolt

Metal shaving in block coolant drain bolt
Removed coolant drainbolt and saw some metal shavings inside. Just bought longblock. Wondering if this is something i should be worried about?

uh oh, that can't be good. so you just purchased the longblock? have you installed it in the vehicle already? compression tested it and the like? specify a bit more and we'll see if we can figure this out before too late.

nah havnt put it in my car yet. wasnt too much just a little bit of shavings in hole from bolt. Just bought the b20 longblock from password jdm. They told me all there motors are compression tested before sold and its guaranteed to start. Motor looks really fresh just wondering if anyones encountered this before. hope it aint nothing serious

anyone with more info then doesnt good? just a little bit of shavings. just want to know where this could have come from? bump for some real info!!

IF you replace spark plugs, spark plug wires (leads), rotor, timing belt, water pump and tension pulley.
